FAQs
Help finding your adapter
What type of adapter do I need?
How do I know which charger and tip I need for my MacBook?
The easiest way is to check the connector style on your current charger or the charging port on your MacBook.
What's the difference between USB-C and MagSafe adapters?
USB-C adapters are used on newer MacBook, MacBook Pro, and MacBook Air models, and charge through a USB-C port using a separate USB-C cable. MagSafe adapters are used on older MacBook models and connect using a magnetic plug rather than USB-C. We carry both, so check your laptop's charging port to confirm which one you need.
I have a USB-C MacBook — what wattage do I need?
It depends on your model. We carry 30W, 61W, 87W, and 96W USB-C adapters (cable included), covering everything from MacBook Air to higher-powered MacBook Pro models. If you're unsure of your exact wattage, check your original charger or your MacBook's spec sheet — using a higher wattage than required is safe, but going too low can result in slower charging.
What's a MagSafe 1 to MagSafe 2 converter, and do I need one?
If you have an older MagSafe 1 charger but a newer MacBook with a MagSafe 2 port (or vice versa), you'll need a converter to bridge the two. It's a simple, affordable fix instead of buying an entirely new charger.
What wattages do your genuine Apple MagSafe adapters come in?
We carry genuine Apple MagSafe adapters in 45W (MacBook Air), 60W (13" MacBook Pro), and 85W (15"/17" MacBook Pro) — all at a fraction of Apple's retail price.
Do you sell chargers for iPhone and iPad too?
Yes — we carry chargers and accessories for iPhone & iPad in addition to our full MacBook adapter lineup.
